Mike has been with the club since May of 2001. He is a member of the PGA of America and serves on their Northern California Chapter Board. Mike won the 2013 Northern California Chapter Bill Strausbaugh Award.
Dave re-joined the OGCC family in 2021. He previously served as the Assistant Golf Professional at OGCC from 2009 to 2018. Dave is a member of the PGA of America and enjoys not only playing golf, but especially teaching others to play the game.
Keri is an LPGA “Class A” Member who played for the University of Hawaii and for one year on the LPGA Tour before pursuing a career in the golf business. She studied under Bob Toski, is a John Jacobs certified instructor, and a certified Fit 2 Golf instructor, which is a program that teaches people with physical limitations. Keri spent many years as a professional in the Laughlin Nevada area and returned home after working most recently as a professional in Northern Minnesota. Keri is originally from Modesto and has family ties in the area so we are glad to have her at OGCC!
Vance has been a part of the OGCC family since 2008. He is a “Class A” golf professional assisting with the Operation 36 Junior Golf Program. Vance is always looking to expand his instructional ability. Vance is also a Titleist Staff Member.
Steve joined the OGCC Team in Spring 2021. He came to us from Brookside Country Club where he worked as the 1st Assistant Professional for over 3 years. Steve is currently enrolled in the Professional Golf Management program with the goal of becoming a member of the PGA of America. He oversees the club’s handicapping program and runs the annual Men’s League in the Spring. Steve excels at club repair and can assist anyone with questions about their equipment. He is currently on staff with Cobra/Puma and is a Srixon golf ball specialist.
Mark Ackerman has been an integral part of OGCC's outside and inside services for three years. Mark is currently enrolled in the PGA "Professional Golf Management (PGM)" program as a PGA Associate. With this, he has aspirations to become a Class-A Golf Professional.
Andy Lopez's journey into the realm of golf course management commenced at Oakdale Golf & Country Club in 2006, sparking a deep-seated passion with turf grass. After leaving as a spray technician in 2015, he pursued a Turf Management degree at UC Riverside, and subsequently rose from assistant to superintendent at Lone Tree Golf Course. In 2020, Andy's path led him back to Oakdale as Superintendent, a role that epitomizes his enduring passion for turf grass.
Sabrina Ramirez, our Food and Beverage Director, , overseeing the bar, kitchen, and restaurant operations with unwavering dedication. As a member of the Club Management Association of America (CMAA), she remains at the forefront of industry excellence, consistently infusing service standards into our offerings. Sabrina's true strength lies in her ability to cultivate enduring professional relationships, both with our staff and our valued members. Her warm and approachable demeanor,, creates a dining experience where exceptional food and personalized service come together seamlessly, making every visit to our establishment memorable and truly extraordinary.
Kendra has been in the food and beverage industry for about 20 years. She's worked at a high end wine bar for 7 years where she helped plan events and host large banquet parties. Kendra also has her degree in criminal justice, but her passion definitely lies in food and beverage. She loves traveling, going to concerts, and experiencing new places. Kendra is super excited for this new chapter here at the club, and is looking forward to creating long lasting relationships with our members.
Doreen has been a part of the OGCC family since January2008. She is the Accountant and oversees all of OGCC’s financial transactions and accounts.
Lacey has been part of the OGCC family since July 2007. She was born and raised in Oakdale. She started OGCC in an Accounts Receivable position and has been trained in various positions in the business office. Lacey handles all Accounts Payable, Payroll, and Human Resources questions.
Nick has been a part of the OGCC family since 2009. He moved to California from Massachusetts’s in 2007. Nick gained his culinary experience by working at various restaurants over the years. He and his wife traveled to Italy visiting places such as Bologna, Rome, Venice, and Florence. Inspired by the traditional Italian dishes on this trip, Nick adds his own creative twist to create one-of-a-kind entrées to offer to our members.
Alex has been part of the OGCC family since 2018. He was raised here in Oakdale and started at OGCC as a busser/host as well as other various positions here at the club. Roman has been a part of the OGCC family since August 2021. He has earned his Associate Degree in Business Administration and is now pursuing his Bachelor’s with an Accounting Concentration. He handles all matters related to Accounts Payable and assists Doreen in various accounting procedures.
